UCSC CIDER Drone Demonstration and Flight Day: Thursday, October 26 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
Ever want to get your hands on a drone and try flying one? The UCSC CITRIS Initiative for Drone Education and Research will be hosting an in-person flight demo day where members of the campus community can come see and learn about a variety of drone platforms. CIDER staff will provide demonstrations of manual and autonomous flight on a variety of platforms, and members of the public will have an opportunity to manually fly some of our introductory drones. Flight demos will be conducted in the Engineering Courtyard, the Plaza area between 1st floor of E2 and JBEB. In order to fly you must be at least 18 years old.
